Well as most of you already know....we are moving back to NL. Thursday I found out that I got a casual/part time job at the Bank of Montreal in Rocky Harbour. It was very unexpected but too good of an offer to turn up. We have been looking to move back home for quite some time now. Guess God is answering our prayers.
I will be flying home on the 22nd of this month but unfortunately Chris will be staying until the spring. He has promised to come home for Christmas and we'll take it from there. After Christmas he will put the house up for sale and then move home as well. Probably won't be until March/April/May but at least after that we get to stay home.
We are both really excited about this new change, even though we'll probably be pretty poor for a bit. :( We'll make it work. I'm gonna live with my parents until Chris comes home but then we will rent our own place. Seems so weird after having our own house for the past 4.5 yrs.
I'm really going to miss my friends ALOT and Chris's family up here, even though it seemed like I was having more bad days then good at work lately I still love the people there. But on the plus side we'll both be closer to our parents, brothers & sisters, we won't have to constantly hear the neighbours attached to us, we can have fires in our backyard (once we get a backyard), there will be no traffic, we'll get to enjoy all the great things NL has to offer, our kids (when we have some) won't have to grow up with guns, drugs, & violence. Oh it's going to be great.
Unfortunately i'm going to be going old school....no computer at home.....no e-mail, no internet, no BLOGGING or reading anyone elses blog. Chris will keep me updated since he's keeping the computer with him until he moves home. At least i'll have my scrapbooking...and God forbid the one thing I hate the most....the telephone.
So yeah, it's a big move but i'm honestly not worrying about it or regretting it one bit. It's gonna be a great move for us. I get all giddy thinking about it. :)

Annual Pumpkin Carving
Well it's that time of year again....our annual pumpkin carving party....once again I am the host. :) It's just so much fun getting together with the girls to carve pumpkins for Halloween. So far no one has arrived but i'm expecting everyone shortly. There's just 5 of us this year...myself, Christa, Myrna, Stephanie and Amanda. I'll be posting pics later. Bye for now!!

It snowed today..... :)
It snowed today....can you believe it? It was so pretty. I love the first snowfall of the year. I had to share it with everyone then I had to run back to my desk to e-mail Christa...we always spent first snowfall together.
It was a beautiful moment, and lasted for a full 3 mins. Hopefully it stays away until December 1st.
Well v-ball was really really really fun last night, gonna be a hard year though...all the teams are pretty good. We are currently in re-alignment so last night we had to play 5 games. First game we tied, we lost 2nd and 3rd games, but came back to kick some serious butt for the last 2. It's not all about winning but it sure as hell helps. :) We have 2 more weeks of re-alignment and then we start round one. Will keep everyone posted on the status of "UNDERPRESSURE". ;)
I've been scrapbooking my Cuba pictures this past week and i'm really really wanting to go on vacation again...I know what you're thinking...I just got back, but honestly Newfoundland is a different kind of vacation. :) I wanna go somewhere where it's really hot and i'm in awe of everything. We are planning to go in the spring again. Chris started saving the day we got back from our last trip to Cuba...he's got the bug now. If anyone has any suggestions of a great place to go...just let us know.

Volleyball Season Begins....
Well it seems like forever since we hit the v-ball court....I missed it so much. Tonight we have the captain's meeting and tomorrow night we start re-alignment. I just love playing...we are in our 6th year..I think :). Started out playing on a team with April and some of her friends but then we went on to start up our own team...UNDERPRESSURE. Cheesy name I know but it was hard coming up with an appropriate name for our group. Along the way we managed to pick up a new player here and there due to the new babies and other activities going on in everyone's lives, but for the most part the majority of us have been playing through the years. We are just a bunch of girls out to have a night of fun and to sweat a little. :) It's strictly Brampton's women's league..no men allowed....well except for the refs.

Newfoundland Vacation
Well as most of you already know we just got back from Newfoundland...sorry but it was a secret and I couldn't tell anyone. We were there for 3 "awesome" weeks. It was so relaxing. Everyone was really shocked and happy to see us. Got to spend alot of quality time with everyone and I found it really hard to leave. Keeps getting harder and harder every time. First couple of weeks we just took turns with each others family, painted mom & dad's kitchen, and helped Chris's dad dig his potato gardens. The second weekend me and dad went to Botwood & then Gander to visit my sisters and their family. All the kids are growing up so fast...and i'm missing it all. On our way back to Ontario we stopped into PEI for a couple of nights to visit Chris's mom, half brothers (Lee & Cody), Janis (Lee's significant other), their two kids Ryan & Tyler, and Cody's girlfriend Sarah.

A little update
Well i've been getting alot of crap about not blogging lately. Honestly I just never think about it. Then when I do think about it, I don't know what to write or there's a million other things to do.
Just finished the scrapbook that I was helping my almost "sister-in-law" do. I can't say much about the scrapbook cause it's a surprise, but we completed about 45-50 pages in the last couple of months. 90-100 if you count the fact that we did an exact copy of all the pages for her. It was alot of hard work and time but so worth it in the end. I wish I could be there to see them when they open it. There won't be a dry eye in the room. But now with that finished I can focus on finishing my sister's wedding album that i'm doing for her and also our Cuba pics. I've been collecting so much stuff that i'll soon need my own room to keep all this stuff in. But at least I have a hobby. :)
Went camping last weekend at Earl Rowe...didn't start out too good with the very "exposed" campsite and all the ants but once Chris sprayed them down with bug spray (he tries to kill everything with bug spray) I felt much better about it. It was lots of fun and I can't wait to go again. Kristen booked "Turkey Point" today for the Aug. 18th weekend so we have another weekend to look forward to.
This weekend we have a Samms family bbq. We are going to bring over our turkey fryer, can't wait to try it out...should be yummy. I'm all for the family get togethers so i'm really looking forward to it.
Well gotta go and watch Big Brother All Stars (I love that show too Stephanie).
Happy Birthday Charlene & Happy Anniversary mom and Dad!!!

The Great Outdoors
Well I guess we have to be thankful for the rain while camping yet AGAIN. It just seems like everything we plan a camping trip it pours out of the heavens. I've come to accept it now and actually invested in some rubber boots....see funny pictures below. I must say that Christa and myself were probably 2 of the hottest hicks..I mean chicks in the entire park. :)
We (myself, Chris, Christa & Kristen) went to Earl Rowe Park, just outside of Alliston. Seemed like a nice park even though we were confined to our mud puddle of a campsite.

Memoirs of a Geisha
I've decided to blog about the books that I read (since I read alot), well the really good ones anyways. I'm currently reading "Memoirs of a Geisha", and I must admit that I really really like it. I had no idea what the book was even about but since there was a movie coming out I figured i'd read the book before I watched the movie. It's just amazing what some people endure during their lifetime. We are just so lucky that we have the freedom to live our lives as we choose. Her mother is dying and her father SELLS her and her sister. She ends up being separated from her sister and living in this "house" where she's supposed to train to become a "Geisha". She's like 12 yrs. old for crying out loud. Her sister who is just a few yrs. older is not "pretty" enough and is basically sold as a prostitute.
I'm only 1/3 of the way through but i'll let you all know my views when I finish.
