Look out Cuba here we come....

In exactly 7 more days from now we will be on a plane and on a plane to Varadero Cuba!!! It's going to be awesome....first "REAL" vacation ever. Trip is booked, passports came today and I pretty much have all my shopping done. Yay!!! It's been a busy 6 weeks or so with planning the trip and the new job changes at work but I will have a full week to relax in the sun and it will all be worth it. It seems like forever since i've actually had time to write a blog, or even read any of my friends blogs for that matter. I never get time to goof off at work anymore. Well since Christa left I have been doing 2/3 of my regular job (well i'm trying to) and the Accts. Payable that Christa used to do. Plus I just did a 2.5 day crash course to fill in all this week for our Purchaser. It's been a little crazy...and next week i'm going to be filling in for Myrna cause she's going to be in Cuba....so after all that I think I deserve this trip. There's been moments when I want to scream/cry/quit and not necessary in that order. I find i've been coming home from work and just wanting to flake. Thankfully Chris has been understanding and been great through it all. Sorry Angie that we didn't get to do more while you were here, hopefully you guys still had lots of fun. I know I did. I have some pictures but i'm not sure when i'll get a chance to post them. Might just wait until I get back from vacation and post everything.
Chris's mom is freaking out a little about this whole vacation thing. She's really nervous and at first was thinking our plane was going to get high-jacked but now she thinks we are going to end up shot. The whole murder at that Mexico resort didn't help our case any. Mom isn't too pleased about us going either but I tried to assure her that we would be fine. Anyways enough typing for one night, i'll try and keep in better touch with everyone. Sorry about the lack of e-mails/visits/phone calls...I promise to be a better friend after my vacation....:)
