Here we are at my sister Tracey's in Gander. We got up super early that morning to drive out so that we could attend the Derby. Apparently there's one every year.....a bunch of guys & even a couple of gals driving old junk cars into each other. It was ALOT of fun.
Left-right: Gordon (brother-in-law), Charlene (sis), Me, Tracey (big sis), dad, and in the front row...Shelby & Sarah.
This car instantly caught fire when it was making its appearance into the pit. As you can see, they had to get the fire truck in and everything. Sorry I wasn't close enough to check out the firefighters. :)
This car crashed into the dirt and they had to use the "jaws of life" to cut him out. Very exciting for us watching but scary for the guy behind the wheel i'm sure. We think he might of had neck injuries but i'll probably never know for sure.
This is the lighthouse in my home town. The day after the wedding we decided to do a little sightseeing. Me, Chris, Christa & Kristen went to the lighthouse and out for a good ole fashion "Sunday drive". It was alot of fun and I got to show Christa & Kristen abit of my hometown. The lighthouse has always been a big tourist spot...such beautiful scenery.

Here we are at Stephanie's parents house for the rehearsal dinner .... the night before the wedding. Her parents "Ray & Maxine" were great, the whole family was, now I know where Stephy gets it. :)
Newfoundland...the most beautiful, relaxing place in the world...or at least that i've visited. ;) It was so much fun. First we went to PEI for a wedding (see below), then we headed straight for the boat to NL. The first weekend we were home we had a big party for Chris's parents 55th anniversary, then I went to Gander with my sister Charlene and dad to visit my other 2 sisters and their family. Then we came back and me and Chris went to Corner Brook for another wedding...the Cullihall wedding. See pictures above. Overall we had a fullfilling and wonderful holiday. Can't wait for next summer.
Well as you all know we attended a couple of weddings on our vacation.... :)
The first one was in PEI. The Hynes wedding...Myrna & Jamie. It was so much fun and as you'll see in some of the pictures....beautiful. Chris was best man, and I was a bridesmaid.
