3 Weeks of bliss...

Newfoundland...the most beautiful, relaxing place in the world...or at least that i've visited. ;)

It was so much fun. First we went to PEI for a wedding (see below), then we headed straight for the boat to NL. The first weekend we were home we had a big party for Chris's parents 55th anniversary, then I went to Gander with my sister Charlene and dad to visit my other 2 sisters and their family. Then we came back and me and Chris went to Corner Brook for another wedding...the Cullihall wedding. See pictures above. Overall we had a fullfilling and wonderful holiday. Can't wait for next summer.

It's official!!

Well it's official....I FINALLY got my license. I know what you are thinking...isn't she 26...and she's only just getting her license? I know that it's rather pathetic but I had to wait until I got over my nervousness and felt comfortable with it. So for the past few months i've been going to drivers school and today I past the test. :)

Look out world, here I come!!!!

It's that time of year again!

Well it's that time of year again.....our annual "girls" weekend!!!

Once a year we try to do a "girls only" weekend. It's so much fun. First year we went White Water Rafting in Ottawa, the second year we went skiiing at Blue Mountain, and since then we have been going to a cottage.

Our plant manger & his wife (2 kids) have been inviting us up to their guest cottage for the past 3 years. It's so much fun. They are great and spoil us so much. Some of our past activities include...riding in their nice boat, on sea-doo, tubing, bon-fire, 4-wheeling, enjoying their hottub, they also usually make us a yummy dinner as well. See we get pretty spoiled hey???

We are leaving today around 5 for the weekend. I'll take lots of pictures and keep you updated on how it went.

Birthdays are special

Well I recently turned 26.....yup 26! It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Despite my bad mood pre-birthday, once the day actually came it was lots of fun. As usual I got spoiled....I love birthdays. lol.

My gifts included lots of awesome clothes from the girls...the cutest skirt, capri's, 2 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts and an awesome book that I wanted to get...."Something Borrowed" by Emily Giffen. A gift card for the mall, and another for Chapters/Indigo book store, Scrapbook supplies (I love scrapping), yummy chocolate brownies, box of chocolates, subscription for Glamour magazine, and money from my parents and my hubby. Like I was saying...i'm spoiled. Oh well I guess it's a fair trade since I have to get older.

Our work also gave us tickets to go see a Lacrosse game which was really fun, and on Saturday we went to our company picnic and then out for dinner. Overall what a blast.

My sis Marlene....

Some people come into our lives and quickly go,
some stay for a while,
leave footprints on our hearts and we are never,
ever the same.

Me and my kitties!!! Posted by Hello

Only 2 more days until my birthday!!!

Well it's only 2 more days until my birthday....woopie!!! Actually it's only the fact of being a year older that is depressing...i'm looking forward to the presents. :)

Just the thought of turning 26 makes me sick to my stomach. I don't even get asked for ID anymore. I always hated being asked for ID and somehow my age snuck up on me and now they always think that i'm old enough and never ask me....it's all happening so fast.
Why can't I stay 23 forever.....last year I was stressing 25.....it's just gonna get worst.

I tried downloading a picture of a birthday cake but i'm getting too old and my brain won't function properly anymore...couldn't remember how to do it. :)

Guess who's having a baby???

"It's the little blessings that help us see just how lovely life can be"

No, it's not me...it's April.....had you for a second didn't I? It's so exciting, I love hearing about all my friends getting married and having babies without me.....just kidding. Although her wedding date will now have to be pushed back a bit...opps. It won't matter though because now they have a special gift to share before the wedding. I hope you have a girl. :) I love little girls.
